INT. OLD OFFICE BUILDING HALLWAY- EVENING - OCTOBER 1950
Richard Williams brings some boxes into his office
INT. OLD OFFICE- evening - OCTOBER 1950
Richard Williams places the boxes on his desk and then separates the two boxes. [note: there should be a quick shot at the clock showing like it's almost 5 o'clock]. He pulls out a photo frame and places it on his desk. He then begins to bring out various objects from his box including paperwork and places these on table.
Jane Angelo shyly knocks on the opened door, stood outside the office. Richard Williams looks up at the door.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
Good evening, please, do come in
JANE ANGELO
Good evening sir
Jane Angelo steps inside the office, not going to far from the entrance. While Richard Williams smiles at her.
JANE ANGELO
I am Jane Angelo, Mr Mogson's assistant, I thought I'd welcome you in your new position as our columnist.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
Ah yes, thank you.
JANE ANGELO
I should let you know that, I am leaving now, and you'll be the last person in the building so you may have to lock up.
Jane Angelo gives the keys to Richard Williams who then places it in his pocket. Jane Angelo looks around the office.
JANE ANGELO
You'd fine that the space here can be quiet limiting. You'd have to use up the store room as well.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
The store room you say?
JANE ANGELO
Yes...the room..just besides me...
Jane Angelo steps aside and points lightly at the door of the store room.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
That's fine, I suppose that should be okay.
JANE ANGELO
Yes...I guess. You'd fine a lovely looking mirror in there too.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
A mirror you say, Miss Angelo?
JANE ANGELO
Well...yes, it's a fine piece of furniture that is. And really makes the room appear larger than it is.
INT. OLD OFFICE BUILDING HALLWAY- EVENING - OCTOBER 1950
Sofia Williams walks down the hallway, peaking from room to room, in doing so, there is gentle green lights peaking through the gaps of the door. The store room door opens slightly. A reflection on the mirror of Sofia Williams can be seen through the store room door as she is peaking around, and the mirror glows in green slightly.
INT. OLD OFFICE- EVENING
- OCTOBER 1950
Richard Williams pauses at organizing his desk
RICHARD WILLIAMS
Ah well...I'll keep that in mind
Richard Williams smiles and nods. He then moves his head to a side and sees Sofia William
RICHARD WILLIAMS
Honey, I'm here!
Sofia Williams turns to face Richard Williams and then proceeds to step inside
JANE ANGELO
Well, I should leave now. Have a good evening Sir.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
And you too, Miss Angelo
Jane Angelo turns around, and greats Sofia William with a slight bow and leaves the room.
SOFIA WILLIAMS
Quiet the place you have here. Oh I should say, I am wearing the pendant you gave me this morning.
Sofia Williams smiles at Richard Williams and touches the pendant.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
That's good. Oh before I forget, could you perhaps do me a favor?
SOFIA WILLIAMS
Sure, what is it?
RICHARD WILLIAMS
Could you go inside that room just there..
Richard William's head slightly tilts and points at the store room door. Sofia Williams turns her head around in response to the pointing of the door.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
And just take this pen box in there. You can place it anywhere.
SOFIA WILLIAMS
Sure, I can do that for you. I may just go exploring a little, while out there too!
Richard Williams hands over the pen box to Sofia Williams. Sofia Williams then leaves the room whilst shutting the door.
LATER
Richard Williams is sitting and continues to organize his desk when he hears some whispers and then it suddenly stops. He then squints looking at the clock on the wall showing 7:30 PM
GHOST OF SOFIA WILLIAMS (V.O.)
(Whisper)
Help Me
Richard Williams eyes widen slowly with fear
RICHARD WILLIAM
(Whispers to himself)
Sofia's been gone for a while.
Sudden bang is heard
Richard Williams flinches with shock.
RICHARD WILLIAMS
(Whispers to himself)
S..S..Sofia?
A sudden female scream is heard and Richard jumps up from his seat and hurriedly walks out of his office.
INT. OLD OFFICE BUILDING HALLWAY- EVENING - OCTOBER 1950
Richard Williams looks from side to side while walking down the hallway and faces opposite of the store room door
RICHARD WILLIAMS
Sofia?
(Pause)
Sofia are you okay? Wha-what happened?
Muffled screaming and door knob rattling can be heard from the store room.
SOFIA WILLIAMS (V.O.)
(screams)
Richard Williams gradually turns himself around and walks down the hallway slowly towards the store room door being a meter away.
SOFIA WILLIAMS (V.O.)
(screams)
The muffled screaming and door knob stops.
The store room door, slowly and slightly opens.
Richard William's hand reaches towards the door knob but the door knob abruptly shuts.
Richard Williams stunned, then steps away from the door.
The door knob slowly begins to rattle again leading Richard Williams to step well away from the door in horror.
The store room door begins to unlocks on its own leaving the door slightly opened.
GHOST OF SOFIA WILLIAMS (V.O.)
Help me...help me...come inside and help me...
GHOST OF THE SPIRIT (V.O.)
Go inside...but if you see yourself run..go..go inside
GHOST OF SOFIA WILLIAMS (V.O.)
Help me...
Richard Williams hears this, pushes the store room door open and steps in
INT. STORE ROOM - EVENING - OCTOBER 1950
Richard Williams scans the store room from left to right. The mirror appears to glow slightly. Richard Williams stares at himself on the glowing mirror but the door suddenly shuts behind him on its own and Richard Williams turns back to see the door, then turns to the front to see Sofia Williams as a ghost in front of him.
Richard Williams eyes open wide in fear and flinches, and takes a step back towards the door.
INT. OLD OFFICE BUILDING HALLWAY- EVENING - OCTOBER 1950
RICHARD WILLIAMS
(screams)
EXT. OUTSIDE OF OLD OFFICE BUILDING - EVENING - OCTOBER 1950
ESTABLISHING SHOT OF THE OLD BUILDING MERGES WITH THE NEW MODERN BUILDING TO SHOW TIME SKIP
FLASH FORWARD:
INT. NEW OFFICE - EVENING - OCTOBER 2016
Carlos Alejandro is speaking to his manager
He is pacing back and forth, behind the his desk, with two fingers pressed against forehead
(Speaks with distress)
CARLOS ALEJANDRO
Ah..yes..yes...I understand...
MR JACKSON (V.O)
This should've been done last week Carlos!
CARLOS ALEJANDRO
Yes..yes I apologize...I'll get right to it
Mr Jackson hangs up phone, and Carlos Alejandro places phone on table while being seated at desk.
Carlos Alejandro begins to position himself to use the computer
Carlos Alejandro uses his mouse to rapidly tap his desk out of frustration for around 6 seconds, and ends with a final loud tap. He then sits back and drops his arms to the side, he is staring in a distance besides the monitor.
The computer then opens up an news article, which
Carlos Alejandro double glances at the screen. On the second glance he leans forward with a curious but frowned facial expression.
CARLOS ALEJANDRO
What the...?
Carlos Alejandro scans the article and murmurs whilst reading the article.
CARLOS ALEJANDRO
"There were no traces of the couple found..."
He scrolls down the page which then displays the damaged pictures of Richard and Sofia Williams.
Carlo Alejandro retreats from the monitor slightly, then clenches his fist out of excitement taking a deep breathe.
He then prints out the article hurriedly and leaves his office.
EXT. OUTSIDE OF OLD OFFICE BUILDING - AFTERNOON - OCTOBER 2016
Carlos Alejandro walks towards to old building, whilst walking, he is looking at the building in fascination.
He stops at the doorstep of the building, and then looks at the article, then looks back at the door.
He then takes a deep breath and opens the door.
INT. HALLWAY OF OLD OFFICE BUILDING - AFTERNOON - OCTOBER 2016
Carlos Alejandro walks down the hallway, and pulls out his phone and uses the phone torch feature to navigate his way down the hallway.
He hears sudden banging from the storeroom ahead, and flinches and abruptly stops walking.
Cold air brushes by his neck and Carlos Alejandro immediately covers his neck and looks at the direction of the source of the air which is behind him.
The sound of the door knob of the store room, clicking can be heard which triggers Carlos Alejandro to slowly turn his head to face the door room.
Carlos Alejandro walks towards the store room door, and slowly reaches out to grab the door handle.
Before touching the door handle, he sees that the door handle is moving itself leading the door to slightly open.
GHOST OF SOFIA WILLIAMS (V.O.)
(whisper)
Help me...please help me
GHOST OF RICHARD WILLIAMS (V.O.)
(Whisper)
come inside...now...now...NOW!
The wind then blows off the papers of Carlos Alejandro's hands which startles him. He then looks from left to right and quickly crouches down to collect the papers.
While crouching down, his notices the one of his papers has flown into the store room.
He then stands up, looks at the article re-reading the line "There were no traces of the couple found" and then changes his facial expression from scared to brave.
INT. STORE ROOM - EVENING - OCTOBER 2016
Carlos Alejandro then steps into the room and he steps over a set of keys.
He then leans down to the pick up the keys and looks at the keys with interest. Whilst still crouched down, he looks at pen box, left opened in front of him which he then leans over to examine the pen box. With a confused he also finds inside a locket which has a restored version of Richard and Sofia William's picture.
Carlos Alejandro stands up and scans the room and notices the mirror as well as his paper next to it. He attempts to collect his paper but the door suddenly slams behind him.
Carlos Alejandro, startled, looks behind to look at the door.
He turns back around and reads the paper that previously has the damaged photographs of Richard and Sofia William and he starts to
read to himself
CARLOS ALEJANDRO
If you see yourself...
GHOST OF SOFIA AND RICHARD WILLIAMS
(Whisper)
RUN!
Carlos Alejandro instantly looks up and finds the ghost version of him self (Richard Williams) reflect in the mirror staring back at him.
He then jumps and turns around hurriedly and runs towards the door whilst looking back at the ghost of Richard Williams.
As he turns back to face the door, Sofia William suddenly appears and glares back at Carlos Alejandro.
GHOST OF SOFIA WILLIAMS
(Shouts)
Don't go or you'll regret this!
Sofia Williams disappears, leaving a gateway for Carlos Alejandro to open the door and run.
As he runs through the hallway, he slows down and shows a possessed face
Richard and Sofia William are standing behind
Carlos Alejandro with the ghost of Jane Angelo standing at the top center of the frame
