P: Costume Fitting
My partner and I went online to search for clothing that would fit the 50's era for our actress to wear while she playing Sofia Williams. These are images of our actress trying on the costumes we bought for her.

P: Certification and classification of The Living Past
Certification of The living
Past
The British Board of Film Classifications is a body that is responsible
for certifying particular age rating to a media text. We have used the
regulations given on the BBFC website and have come to the conclusion that our
film can be certified as a 12.
Reasons:
Discrimination: Discriminative behavior is only referenced through a facial
expression in exactly one small scene in the entire film and this is when Jane
Angelo looks at Sofia Williams, who is of black ethnicity with despise, but
overall our film does not endorse discriminatory language or behaviour.
Drugs: Drugs use and abuse is completely absent in our film
Imitable behavior: There is nil promotion of dangerous
behavior that may be imitated by children, no anti-social behavior is promoted
and there is no evidence of realistic and easily accessible weapons, such as
knives.
Language: There is absence of strong language.
Nudity: Nudity is absent in our film.
Sex: Any form of sexual activity is absent in our film
Threat: Due the fact that our film is within the horror genre, there is
minimal to moderate psychological threat, no physical threat. Some scenes are
disturbing and these are the horror scenes, but the horror sequence in our film
is very short and occurs around 3 times throughout the film.
Violence: Violence is minimal to moderate, we do show blood, but there is
little emphasis on blood and blood is only seen around 3 short times throughout the
film. Blood is found in a gory moment in the horror sequence that is justified
by the context, as the individual with blood on their self (Sofia Williams) is
a ghost. There is absence of sexual
violence in our film.

P: Final Poster Drawing
We were unsatisfied with our other poster drawing as we did not feel the horror factor was represented well, thus we decided to draw another horror poster and obtain audience feedback on this drawing,

P: Poster drawings audience feedback
These are pictures of the audience feedback we received from out two possible horror film poster. Both posters received extra drawings in how we could improve our posters, in terms of the positioning of the film title and production credit. Moreover, we made the mistake of including a bar code on a horror movie poster and this was asked to be removed, because posters do not have bar codes generally. This audience feedback was very useful and a final draft of our horror movie poster will be created in consideration of the audience feedback.
Our audience gave further verbal feedback, that our poster is very ambiguous in terms of the genre, as it lack iconography associated with the horror genre, such as blood.
